The
Fire Department is very active in Community Public Education. Members
of the Taylors Bridge Fire Department would enjoy the opportunity to
speak with your community group, church group, neighborhood
association, work place or other group. We cover a variety of topics
including, but not limited to the following:
- Home safety
- What to do in a fire
- Working with your local
public safety officials
- Fire extinguisher
training
- Smoke detectors
- Helping children cope
with disaster
If
you are interested in having the Taylors Bridge Fire Department visit
your group or if you would like to tour the Fire Station, please
contact one of the firefighters or telephone the Fire Chief at
592-7512, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, to schedule a time. Please
remember that our visiting crews are in-service for calls, and may be
called away from your tour or event due to an emergency response.
If
you would like to spend a couple of hours with the Taylors Bridge Fire
Department and respond to emergency calls with us, please call the Fire
Chief to schedule a ride-along. This program is open to community
members 18 years of age and older.
